Hi R2R!

Hello all, glad to be a part of yet another reefing forum. I’ve been a reefer for about 5 years now, and gone through my fair share of tanks and failures.. my current tank is a 190 gallon DSA tank that I actually kind of hate. I like the look of smaller tanks and coral specific tanks. I’m currently planning a new build involving 3 tanks on one system.. guess I’ll have to document the progression on that?

Here’s a pic of my current tank before all my fish died to velvet....

Velvet is ugly. Sorry to hear about your velvet outbreak. Unfortunately today it's something that is all too common.

Yeah I’ve heard all of the horror stories of velvet and to see it happen to all of my dream fish just completely broke my heart and it almost caused me to leave the hobby, I let my tank run on cruise control for 3 months and lost a few coral including my favorite coral, about 20 polyps of utter chaos... lol. That one really killed me inside. Fortunately I’m still in it and ready to spend all of my money again!
