Hi,
Thanks, yes definitely i will be posting some pics of one the tanks as other is little unwell. However i have some queries regarding reef? I have been maintaining FO saltwater. i needed to know regarding reef ?? has anybody done reef tank with only using refugium as a filter ?? if yes, then what is the ratio of the refugium to the tank volume say about 3000 gallons??

i would say you would need a refugium of at least 10-20% of Total volume ..

So you mean, if the tank is 10000 L the size of the refugium would 1000 L ? Has anybody tried reefing without a refugium? I mean do you actually need reactors like nitrate or phosphate ? I know we need calcium but don't know about other reactors. If yes, then for 10000L of tank what capacity should i use a nitrate reactor?

No i mean if Your dt is 1000 Ltrs you would need 10-20% of 1000 so iT would be 100 -200 Ltrs

Hi guys,

Long time, i have decided to put a black tip shark in one these tanks. Anybody who can give me few details about black tip? Feeding , tank mates etc ??
