Hi there, Gorgeous Rainbow Blue Ribbon Eel

I have a gorgeous adult blue ribbon eel.. for 9 months now. the problem is he is always hiding... I have changed landscape but he still likes to maintain his comfort in a rock and under sand.. He is about 2 and half inches in girth and about 28 inches long.. He is very tame... but want him to show himself off more as hes so beautiful... Thank you in advance
