I don't know enough about tanks but I get help from a friend who knows much more.
I have a small reef tank of 80 liters for a couple years now.
It used to be really nice, until during some vacation a main power failure in my apartment totally ruined it.
I lost shrimps, fishes, and most of my corals.
Since then (over a year), I've been struggling with algae, with ups and downs.
To avoid it happens again, I have designed and built a monitoring device that sends me SMS in case main power fails, or there is light, temperature or water level issues.
My hobbies are scuba diving and snorkeling, 3D design and printing, Arduino stuff, traveling, and doing nothing, too.
