Hey there!

I'm new to marine aquariums and reefing :P So I thought I'd join R2R and mingle with the seasoned hobbyists and experts out there so I can successfully do this thing!
I've been doing my own research (still getting through my Natural Reef Aquariums book by Tullock atm) and lurking online forums but there's nothing like interacting with someone with experience directly.

Against what's normally suggested due to space, I've started with a ten gallon which currently houses an ocellaris clown, emerald crab, blue legged hermits and a recently added banded coral shrimp. Don't worry, I do water changes religiously and keep parameters in check since I know how notoriously crazy small tanks can be! Hoping to add some of the "easier" soft corals in a few months and once I get some nice lighting :) Any lighting suggestions brand-wise would be excellent, and any good advice on whether I should go with T-5 or LEDs would be excellent as well!

Any thorough resources (books or otherwise) that would be great reads before I start messing around with coral would be greatly appreciated, as well.
Anything that gets into the nitty gritty of things is my cup of tea (ex-lab tech turned artist here :P) so feel free to point me to some dense stuff as well. I'm unafraid!

I also have a 20 gallon freshwater tank with black skirt tetras and a dwarf gourami and BN pleco.
Really loving how different marine aquariums are! Keeps the sciencey side of my brain stimulated by constantly researching the freshwater ad marine worlds.

Anyway, that's about it! I look forward to browsing and posting here :)

Thanks in advance for any replies, advice, etc!
