New here but tankfully I have some experience in the hobby.
Not an expert though so I'm looking forward to your input as things roll along.
Our old system was a total volume of roughly 90g but we're
having to start anew due to our home being burned down by arson.
Thankfully everyone and the pup got out safely, just couldn't save our little slice of ocean.
So this will be a fresh start and we're scaling down to a shallow reef, ada 60f with a 30 gallon sump for a total volume of roughly 35g once some rock and a lil sand is added.
Much less work cutting the volume down to a third of our old system and we feel a few select corals will really be the center of attention in this smaller setup.
We hope at least.
I managed to salvage my gen1 radions but the big power supply unit burned up, bummer right?
Nope.
Ecotech is the bees' knees, hit them up explaining my situation and they immediately sent out a power unit!
Class all the way...
Anywho, things are still in their infancy right now.
There will be more a lil down the road...
Need to get someone to build a stand or maybe you guys have suggestions as to what I could do...
Dunno, that's the last piece of equipment I need to get settled and I'm drawing blanks
