Hi

Welcome to the Reef, BTW no need to show off that the Great Barrier Reef is in your back yard, that makes grown men cry. So jealous!!! Lol

Hehe thanks for the warm wecome. I've mainly been snorkelling around Lord Howe and Norfolk islands lately, which are the southern most reefs. Amazing places.
There we go again, can't you hear us crying lol I have to fly a long way to see a Reef lol

Hi everyone

I have had my reef tank for 5 months now and really enjoying it.

I have a 7 foot Cade 2100 and keeping a mixed reef with an assortment of coral such as pocilophora, chalice, leptoceris and goniopora.

I live in Sydney Australia and so love to go snorkelling on the reefs when I can.

Looking forward to sharing my journey in the hobby and getting to meet you.

Rob

Hi Rob and Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
