Do any of you have creative ways to hide buckets?

I could build cabinets for it, but that takes time... It would be sooo much easier if I could find a pair of ottomans or small cabinets that could sit on either side of my tank, and conceal a bucket.

Any other ideas out there?

I have 1 lid. I stack my buckets, put a lid on the top bucket, and keep them outside/in my shed. Not helpful but maybe an idea if you haven’t considered it, lol.

I want the buckets to be reservoirs for top-off water, so I need it by the tank. I like the idea of ottomans, or even a cabinet that I can display items on top of, but anything to let me keep a bucket on either side, but have it look nice.

It's been a while, but this is the solution that I came up with. It's just roughed in now, but the sketchup render should give you an idea what to expect.

There is a complete DIY video in the works - all made from stuff you can grab at the big box home center...

I've been looking for a nice looking laundry basket or etc. Get one that's like wicker or braided rope and it'll look ok.

Those are great. The best part is you build it the way you want. Amazing builds

I have space in my stand to put a 10 gallon tank next to my sump for ATO water, and I have a line that has a quick disconnect for a pump to refill when it gets low or whenever I make more RODI water. I build the stand big enough to house it cause I had seen so many threads of people wanting to hide the 5 gallon buckets. got the idea from another member on here when we talked about tank stand designs. I also built the "ceiling" of the stand deep enough to have my dual reactors tucked up high as I could . this made things look cleaner, but was a pain to get everything in the right place... so now my sump and ATO are the display of the stand haha.

I am planning on putting a 75 or 90g on the floor, covered with a decorative bench or a “hope-chest” type of thing for my AWC. I am just keeping my eye out for furniture I can repurpose

Walmart has inexpensive folding ottomans around $20 - neighbor just ought one for ATO
