So added a new Royal Gramma to the tank on Monday and haven't seen him since probably Tuesday. I know it's normal for fish to hide but I'm a little worried he's not eating at all. I'm lowkey thinking about moving and checking under the rock he's under after a week or 2 but really don't want to stress him out anymore than he already is. Any tips?

Please leave it alone. I've had one that hid for just about three weeks.

They like to hang out below, a over hanging rock.

If it’s a royal gramma, then it’s hiding (I hope in your case). My current RG hid twice for a very long time 3+ weeks in 2 different tank that I written him off as dead. But then it resurfaced one day out of the blue twice! I was so happy.

Well I hope thats the case with mine, but I feel something happened to him since I had a algae bloom where the cave interest is where he was last hidden.
