How long have you had it? Do you have any aggressive fish in your tank with it? It can take some take some time to acclimate.

He should be acclimated within a few days and will be swimming about in no time. What type of wrasse do you have there?

Agree with others this is normal behavior. The fish is not comfortable with his surroundings yet. I prefer to use an acclimation box with wrasses, as they will almost always hide the first couple of days. An acclimation box cuts down on aggression as well.

Normal in my experience. I have the same species of wrasse and it hid for a day or two 1) when I first got it and 2) after I moved my tank. It'll be out and making your tank awesome-er in no time.

Completely normal when first introduced to a tank. Being captured and moved can be a sreessful ordeal. He will be out and about in no time.
