High alk

I have had my dos set up for a while I have finally got my calcium up to 450 but my alk is at 12. I'm using brs 2 part. So to lower the alk should I just lower the 2part and continue dosing or turn it off and let levels drop then return to dosing

Turn it off and let levels drop to where you want them. If you have sps make sure to make changes slowly.

Then dose less to match consumption. In 2 part you don’t always have to dose both in equal amounts if you have to fix one.

I only dose mag after I go threw a gallon of each part my mag is 1450 right now

I was dosing 35ml of each finaly got my calcium up to 450 now my alk is 12 so will shut it off and back it down

No sps just lps a week ago I noticed my dragon soul favia was withering away a few zoas wont open and a nice torch is half open I thought I was chasing a nitrate issue but when I tested today I noticed it's an alk issue
