High Alkalinity & High Ca

Have a 290G main tank and 75 sump.

I'm a bit concerned about my Ali & CA levels
ALK 20dKh
CAL 549
My PH has been around night time 7.8 and daytime high of 8.03. Tried to raise it with Kalkwasser , but I think this may have pushed All &Ca up.
I do weekly water changes

Any advise welcome.

You could leave the CA alone, as this should get used up pretty quickly, and 540 isn't a rediculous number.
ALK you can bring down using Muriatic Acid

Would introducing Muriatic acid not drop my PH too low?

You can't dose it all at once. You do a little at a time, and let the PH stabilize before adding more.

It will drop pH, but the only alternatives for correcting that seriously high alkalinity is waiting for it to drop on its own with no additives, or doing water changes to accelerate the drop.

Limewater (kalkwasser) should only be added if and when you need to supplement alkalinity.
