I have a alk test of 10. Is this to hight for LPS? I have a 2 torch frags that are struggling. the hammer, lobo, and cans al seem to be fine. just can seem to find the reason the torch are slowing wasting away.

Unlike.. in my experience....., hammers and frogspawn, torches have been touchy for me. Indirect flow seems to be preferred and torches like a little older tank.. 6 months or more.. 10 alk is on my high side but should not be a factor. Are they torches or E. cristata?? Cristata have shorter polyps than torches.

Well I doubt alk has anything to do with it. My alk was 10.9 for 4-5 months and no issue besides low mag (Dropped to 1050) and that was fixed and the one hammer bounced back. Alk has slowly gone up to 12dkh for a couple weeks with no ill effect but am working on bringing it down to 8.5 or so just to keep better water (hopefully coral will be okay with this).

What are your other parameters?
