In July of 2018, I did a Triton Lab analysis which did not detect any As. A recent Coralvue ICP shows .079ppm As(reference .
01ppm).

Also the current test shows a high Cl at 21617.51ppm(reference 18471ppm). Apparently Triton doesn’t test for that.

Should I be concerned. Treatment options if necessary?

I would personally trust the Triton result more, unless you have a reason to suspect that there's arsenic in your tank. It's very uncommon. I would also set the reference value at 2 ppb or less, not 10 ppb as indicated there.

The reason Triton doesn't list chlorine is because it's what's left after all the other anions are subtracted out. Don't forget that the 'salt' in saltwater is mostly sodium chloride. ATI does list chlorine in their ICPOES results but I honestly never do more than glance at it, if that.

chloride high either means high salinity, or low sulfate to chloride ratio due to dosing calcium chloride.

So how is sulfate?

I would not believe the icp analysis dot com (coralvue) result as I do not have confidence in their results or understanding of chemistry. The owner was here a while back and showed a shockingly poor understanding of reef chemistry, and poor data in their test results of their own true seawater samples.

Your assessment is interesting. I decided to give them a try after having a Triton sample disappear somewhere in the pipeline. Note to self: Always get a tracking number.

I don’t have high salinity and not sure about sulfates. I do dose 2-part. I guess I’ll not worry about it and go back to Triton once every six months since I don’t do “the method”. I’m coming off a period of tank chemistry uncertainty at the 2 year mark. I lost a few corals due to ultra low nutrients. I believe we are back on track. Time will tell.
