High calc - coralline turning white in spots

Is it possible that high calc would cause coralline to turn white? It's spotty but I just noticed it. My calc peaked out at 600 two days ago, it's finally falling. I've been trying to supplement my triton system with two part and clearly I misjudged. Oddly the alk has been very steady at 9.

What is your mag?

Sadly my mag kit is expired and I don't have a back up. Have one coming from Amazon though.

If it is just your coraline algae don't worry about it.
Sometimes it can stress your corals a bit mostly SPS but when you caught it on time and as you mentioned it's falling your good.
Keep a eye on your ALK for now as that can spike up due to a off balanced system.

You can do a WC to bring it even more down.
What is your ALK?

Alk was steady at 8.75 for a long time. I checked it again this evening and since I cut the calc dosing, the alk has dropped a bit to 8.1. This morning it was at 8.75.

I definitely knew something would go wrong when I started supplemental dosing. I was dropping my triton elements and adding two part. It was bound to happen....[emoji12]
