Curious if anyone has had this situation. Honestly without a trident I would have no idea. Running a cal reactor and have kept alk stable around 9dkh. Calcium levels on the trident are showing 530. I am using RC salt. Since cal/alk are being dosed equally with the cal reactor I am confused how it got like this. FWIW I tested with a salifert test and got 470. I did recalibrate the trident and the values were the same. Everything is okay with the cal at 530 but not sure what type of long term effect it may have.

Perhaps something in your system is consuming alkalinity thus the reaction to ‘push’ the reactor.
