Not likely that you'd notice much difference, unless it is VERY high. Calcium levels don't seem to control coral growth (one sink for calcium and alkalinity) and and the difference in abiotic precipitation (the other sink) between 550 ppm calcium and 450 ppm calcium is small. Like the difference between NSW at pH 8.0 and 8.1.

If you use a second syringe of titrant and add the values together, you can get the actual value.
