had an singapore angel and naso in a qt for about 2 weeks now, but the angel still has persistant specks. typically i would dose 20 cupramine drops in my qt and progressively add more every day until the spots dissapear.

only this time they did not, my first assumtion was flukes so i did a freshwater dip for 5 mins but nothing fell out, so i dosed prazipro just to be sure but still the spots remain. in my experience this looks like flukes but why arent they going away?

the naso on the other hand is the newest addition and has not shown a single speck in the two weeks hes beem in qt, so what is this?

now i know i might have gone a bit....overboard on the copper but i just had to be sure, going to do a massive water change to get it down lower

It looks like it may be a fungus.

just did a quick 6 min freshwater dip amd no flukes, if it is a fungus its very ich like

how would i begin treatment?

Copper like Cupramine is after all a poison to fish. The dose recommended by Seachem for Cupramine is 0.50 ppm. Appears your fish is severely overdosed at 2.o4 ppm of Cupramine. Could be your fish is having a bad reaction to the excess copper. It can damage the internal organs too. Appears your fish has a severe case of lympho and possibly bacterial infection also due to its immune system being suppressed to a very high degree by the copper.

Do a water change and get your copper down. You're looking at potentially killing them with that level before you get a solid answer.
