High CPU usage, sluggish performance

Ever since the new site design change, R2R has been hogging my CPU and performance is very sluggish. As I'm typing this sentence, the letters are showing up on the screen very slowly, about 8 words behind my actual keystrokes. Prior to the site redesign I never had this issue.

I'm experiencing this issue on a MacBook running High Sierra, and using Safari with all the latest updates applied. I've done all the typical troubleshooting such as clearing the browser cache, rebooting, closing all other apps, etc. Other website tabs are not having the same problem, just when I'm on R2R.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Very strange as I'm actually experiencing the opposite...site is performing much quicker for me. But I'm using a PC/tablet, neither of which are Apple products.

That sounds like you're viewing R2R on a compromised machine.

I run Apple and windows. No issues on my end. Sounds like some kind of key logger or virus.

I run, apple and windows. I’ve noticed improved performance on both machines since the site change.
Might be time for a tune up on your rig.

I’m experiencing the same on my MacBook and iMac running most recent OS. I use safari to view r2r

Hello,

First disclaimer, I’m horrible at electronics, but since the change on my iPhone 8, it’s much slower on my phone also so easily could be my not so smart (errrr) smart phone. However with that said I have no idea how to fix it. I have already taken my phone to Apple and they said nothing is wrong. This is the only site that goes slow on my phone. Again though I’m not sure if it’s my phone or if it’s because Apple updated my software. But it was the same before and after speed wise. Any suggestions (oh and like when I try and post the little box doesn’t always show up or is super small. Is there a way to make it the same size every time?
