Got a bit more work done with some changes to my plan. Decided to put the tank in the game room so had to stain the stand instead of painting it.

I finally had some time to hook up the plumbing. I got it all filled with vinegar water and running in the shop. Going to run it for a week to be sure there are no leaks in my plumbing and my home made overflows. Its has been going for 2 days now and no problems so I think I am safe.

My goal was to not need a wave maker and use my big pump. I have 2 returns and one of them Y's off so there are 3 ports in the tank creating flow. It really is moving some water around. Waiting on my 3/4" back flow union. I will cut that in when the tank is moved into place.

Getting ready to put in place this weekend. Working on a screen top now since my Niger Trigger jumped out of my 250 display. Now both tanks are getting screen tops. This is the template which fit perfect on the first cut.....not sure how that happened.

Just a waiting game now. Waiting to get some live rock from FL, but with all the storms there is nobody going out diving. I did make a mesh screen top for the tank since I had a niger trigger jump from my 250 display and my wife wont let me order more fish unless there is a screen on all the tanks.
