The High End Chalice Market, what happened? A year or so ago every vendor was selling $500 - $1000 eyes like hotcakes. Big time hobbyists couldn't spend that thousand fast enough. Now I don't see anything. Where did that market go? It was such a huge movement and dominated talks on R2R over a year or more and now nothing?

Still there. But there are only so many "rainbow" chalice, they all start looking the same after some time and those are the one's getting the big money.

I agree all the rainbows that are bringing in the $ now are looking the same I have a tiny sc dynamite frag with all the colors and just today I see a pic posted of the wwc jellybean and it looks identicall to my dynamite frag!

very true. only so much rainbow in the world. But as far as pieces looking the same, I think that partly is due to the size limitations of the frags. I think the larger/more mature specimen, show more of the variations and colorations. So, a large colony, once cut into "affordable" frags, has some pieces with all the colors, some with a few of the colors, and even some with just one or maybe two colors. IMO.

The new fad Is leaning towards zoos again and
now mushrooms it seems, also some really sick montis

Great! Let everyone else spend money and hype up Z/P while some of us enjoy better pricing on chalice. LOL.

Agreed, let's stock up now on chalice and in 5 years we can retire.

lobes - I agree, hard to figure out what a dime size chalice will look like when its 5 inches round...good point.
