Sure will. I just saw mine for the first time in over a year since his goby died.

Yeah I wouldn't plan on seeing him much. Best chance will be at night. I do feed my tank pretty heavy, so if you are a light feeder he may end up having problems getting enough food since they tend to hide so much without the goby.
