High mag and cal

Hi i am new to reefing and my corals arent looking so good, i tested my water for the first time and got very high readings for mag and cal,
Mag-2200
cal-520
Alk-10
Is this even possible and how do i fix it even if my testing may not be perfect 2200 seems extreme

What kind of test kits are you using?

Have you done the tests twice, back to back to confirm those readings?

The calcium is fine. The magnesium is likely testing error. What kit?

Do you consider 520 ppm Ca as a fine value ? Not a critical value IMO - but fine?

I always keep my calc btwn 480-520 for the last two years will no I'll effects.....only positive effects

Important to keep Mag at a 3:1 to 4:1 ratio to calc
