I have used the same test kit twice so I do not know if it is the test kit. I am using a Salifert Mag Test. I do the last part where you have to drip the chemical till the vial changes color. Well it never changes color. I see that the kit stops at 1500. Can my mag be that high and is that bad? I do not dose anything but Oceans Blend 2 part. I have not tested my cal but I will in a couple mins. If my Mag is that high how do I lower it. I have noticed that a couple chalices will not puff up and seem a little sickly that is why I tested it. How can I lower it?

It's simple math to figure out what your level are if you just keep using reagent until you do get the color change. That said, even if your levels are that high it's not going to cause stress in corals until it's get several hundred ppm higher than natural levels. Next time you make up some water for a water change test it to see what your magnesium level is for your makeup water.
