Hello you guys I tested my tank and I have high mag. it's 1480 ppm I was wondering if there a way to lower down mag or just do a water change which I'm going to do today or should I just leave the mag. That way

Unless you added a lot, it likely came from your new water and I’d just ignore it. The value may also be inaccurate, especially if you used the Red Sea kit.

No I did add any mag and I do test my water with red Sea test kits . So it fine to have high mag ??

The level is likely fine, whether that 1480 ppm is real or something lower. :)

Sluggish snails is often found with very high magnesium. Do you have any and do they seem OK?

Agreed with the good Dr. here. My mag is about 1600-1700. Tested with a Hannah. I have nassarus snails and turbo snails that handle it fine. I use IO reef crystals and it has just mixed up that way since forever. Your number is not that bad, don't chase numbers anyway, you'll stress about something that's likely not a huge deal.
i wouldnt worry about 1480. i have run tanks as high as 2100 with no ill effects. 1400-1500 is very commonly kept number.
