High Magnesium

My magnesium has crept up to 1600, I will test again, I am using the Red Sea Reed Foundation Titration kit.
All other #'s seem stable:

Am 0
NO2 0
NO3 0
PH 8.3
Cal 435
DKH 9.8
Sal 1.0235
Ma 1600

I stopped dosing A&B as I have no SPS but would like to add.

Any thoughts?

Following along...although your nitrate reading seems really low for a reef tank...

Tank has only been up and running for a few weeks.

PS I only have 4 small Frags, nothing established.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just stop dosing and let it come down with water changes. Many people keep theirs as high as 1500 or more I believe

I used to have mine at 1600 to 1700 with no problems.

Actually the Tank looked much better then too.

Maybe I should raise it back.

It shouldn't be a problem, but I also don't understand how it rose and I'm concerned it may just be a testing error.

I will retest, I may have been impatient
