High Nitrate , "OK" Phosphate - How to Proceed

Well it isn’t pretty but I set up the AWC to change 7 gallons a day spread out in 2000 mL increments throughout the day. Corals seem to react well to it, other than the SPS pieces that continue to dwindle.

I used 2 blue salt buckets marked at the same place, filled one with fresh saltwater and left other empty and at the end of 5000 mL transfer they were within 100 mL of water moved over so I felt pretty happy with that. The fill starts about 3 min before the pull, so ATO won’t kick on during the fill. Corals responding very well, almost no sand now in between my 3 ricordea garden. Ricordea the best coral in the hobby. Still waiting on ICP results, lookin forward to it. 37574ABD-B8B5-4BB9-9774-1ED995E60097.jpeg

I am not really sure what moves to make, it looks like phosphates are stupid high and low iodine ?

It looks phosphates are not OK 0.7 mg/l is quite high, the other parameters are fine. You should check tests you are using there is quite big difference between ICP and your tests. IME big swings of alkalinity caused coral tips bleaching, but high phosphates also.

I need to get a better test kit for kH , I had a feeling. What do you recommend for the kH test ?

I'm old fashion guy and I am also using Salifert from more than 15 years with no issues. But I see many reefers using now Hanna, I dont know how accurate are they but for sure eliminate personal perceptions of color change.
