Well it isn’t pretty but I set up the AWC to change 7 gallons a day spread out in 2000 mL increments throughout the day. Corals seem to react well to it, other than the SPS pieces that continue to dwindle.
I used 2 blue salt buckets marked at the same place, filled one with fresh saltwater and left other empty and at the end of 5000 mL transfer they were within 100 mL of water moved over so I felt pretty happy with that. The fill starts about 3 min before the pull, so ATO won’t kick on during the fill. Corals responding very well, almost no sand now in between my 3 ricordea garden. Ricordea the best coral in the hobby. SPS the
flesh that is left seems happy but every day when I come home from work there is less purple and more white. Still waiting on ICP results, lookin forward to it.
