Any one running FOLWR setup for many years with nitrates above 20ppm?? Did you guys see any impact of it on fish health?

no there isn't any. Paul B's full reef w many fish runs over 100 ppm at times, he's stated.

I could see how an unkempt system running high nitrates due to accumulations and old wasting material being bad for health secondarily, but not nitrate itself. many high nitrate but healthy systems exist.

Personally have never had any problems with high nitrates. Ive had systems with over 60+ppm with no issues. Actually, my fish in those systems are the healthiest!

I have a heavily stocked 220 gallon FOWLR water changes every 2 weeks 50gallon. Normally nitrates will toggle between 15ppm to 25ppm by the time it approaches a water change. Fish are healthy so far I have butterflies and some angels.
