I am on day 8 of the Dr. Tim's cycle and my ammonia is testing at 0 but my nitrates have been at 95 to 160 for the last few days. I am using a Nyos kit to test. since my ammonia levels are now at 0 should I just do a 30% water change and then will my tank be cycled and ready for fish?

Here are the other tests I have done
Alkalinity-8
Ammonia-0
Calcium- 490
Magnesium-1050
Nitrate-160
phosphate-.33
PH-7.78

with nitrates that high, I would do the largest water change possible and then add the first fish

It is highly unlikely nitrate is that high. Where would it come from? How much ammonia did you add?

More likely is a little nitrite showing a huge interference response to nitrate testing.

Water change is not needed, IMO.
