High nitrates

+1 on checking phosphates and if at zero letting them rise a bit by decreasing GFO use or other.
 
I have been using nopox for about 2 months and have gone up to about 4mls and have been at 1.5 for a week now. I had gotten a new fish feeder and I set it up wrong and it was dumping way to much food in while I was gone for a week on vacation. And that was about a month ago.... That just set in now that I'm thinking about it. Would that be it?

Foods definitely are the ultimate source for nitrate, and that would have boosted it a lot. So it may take longer to bring it down now. :)
 
My pho4 is at O ppm
And no3 is as 32ppm. I'm going nuts over this stuff. Thanks for the help
No problem Ryan... If you want, you can pick up a Fleet enema from the drug store and dose around 3 drops per 10 gallons of waters. That will get you a 0.04 ppm concentration. That is usually plenty and works very well. It's what we did with my nephew's tank.
