Well, I have been fighting high Nitrates for months and nothing seems to work. New salt mix, no pox , water changes, and a newer larger skimmer. Still it’s off the charts. All my softies and fish are doing great and water is crystal clear. I have used several different kinds of test kits and they all say the same, high! Any suggestions would be great!

Honestly the tank looks great. Having any algae issues? What is you water source, have you tested the sources nitrate value?

How long has the tank been set up and running and for how long have the Nitrates been "high"?

What is “high”? It good to carry some nutrients. You say everything is thriving, then things should be fine. Tell a little more about your tank... how old, filtration, skimmer, fuge, fish, etc..
You can do a water change. Maybe do a series of small water changes so you don’t shock your system and the reduction isn’t so quick.
I’m not an expert by any means. I only test when things look a little off. I know that some of the experts out there run higher nutrient level tanks with amazing SPS growth.
Any changes you make, do them slowly and monitor how you tank is reacting. Corals are amazingly adaptive, but thrive in consistency. Good luck and hope to hear more.

If everything looks great then dont worry about the nitrates. I have on average 30-40ppm nitrates. If thats your tank it looks awesome. If you drop your nitrates to low to fast your awesome tank may not be so awesome anymore

Still it’s off the charts.
With the tank looking that good, it sounds like you need a bigger chart!

Some people on here run softie tanks >150ppm NO3. I'm not sure I would recommend going that high, but some of the tanks look amazing.
