Hello , so today I took my water to get tested and the nitrite and nitrate are still super high.
Here’s a picture
It’s been 1 week since I’ve had the tank and I’ve added dr timms ammonia and bacteria everyday.
I do currently have one clownfish and shrimp.
Is this normal or should I do water change ? Tank is still cycling btw

What is the ammonia level right now?

Was the aquarium ammonia free before adding the fish?

Yes it was
Great.

The high nitrite is normal so soon after ammonia reduction occurs. It takes time for bacteria to convert nitrite to nitrate. By the way, nitrate cannot be accurately measured in the presence of nitrite. That nitrate number you have is likely worthless.
