Will bottled bacteria protect inverts early in the cycle?

I'm currently attempting a fishless cycle detailed in this post from earlier this morning: Post

I'm seeing Nitrites >1 ppm, but no ammonia and low Nitrates. I'm being advised that this water chemistry is still safe to add the starting members of my CUC (emerald crabs and some trochus or nassarius snails).

I've heard a couple times on this forum that I should trust Dr. Tim's one and only to protect livestock. I'd like to get a couple more opinions if possible before putting any other livestock at risk. Ideally I'd like to add some inverts this evening.

Thanks!

I typically run nitrate levels of over 30ppm in my tank, so if my inverts can actively thrive at that level... Yes, you should be fine (snails and crabs in particular are fairly hardy).

I believe he is referencing N02 not N03.

Either way, why not just wait an extra week and allow the bacteria to full do its job before adding anything?
