Hey guys, Im not a big fan of SPS and dont really want to fill my tank high par areas with em.
Im fairly new and feel Its too early for me to start dosing things to keep mag and calcium and alk up.
Im having luck with LPS such an favia, chalice, some euphyllia, trachyphyllia etc.
My soft corals which are mostly ZOAS are doing very well.
So that being said, what do you out there suggest for high par corals that are NOT sps

A variety of corals can acclimate to higher par. My torches are at 250. I have zoas at 300 but if you are not keeping SPS then just set your lights for an LPS and soft system. So your top rocks are maybe 200 to 250, mid tank 150 and bottom 50 to 100

I agree with just turning down the lights.
