Over the forums through different sites they all talk about ways to increase your ph but no one really talks about high ph and ways to reduce it.i just started dosing about 2 week ago, 15ml alkalinity at night for now and my ak levels are still low so I'm bumping it up to 30 ml. When I started dosing 15ml through the day the ph is 8.52 and night time 8.42. Now that I'm dosing 30ml I'm thinking I'm gona get some ph spikes. Before 8.52 is not horrible but it's still something to worry about but now I'm even more worried. Any thought would be great.

Ak/7.6
80 gallon tank
Mostly soft corals
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5

Hi, Welcome to Reef2Reef!
How old is the tank? did you use dry rock and sand? Are you dosing only Alkalinity?
how did you determine the dosage? By what is being used by the tank?

The tank is a month and two weeks old. I used mostly dry rock and a little bit of live rock. Live sand. Dosing calcium and magnesium as well. And I started 15ml just to be a start of point and since its low I'm trying to double it then I will test again. Not sure what the last question means

This is how dosing calcium and alk is determined. the tank and inhabitants use X amount and we dose that amount back in.
you should be dosing both cal and alk evenly as they are related.
heres some articles. look at the how to, beginners,

its possible that with the uncured live rock, salt choice, and incorrect dosing you are increasing you your Ph due to the buffering of the rock.
7.6 is not low esp depending on what you calcium is. In a new tank I really wouldn't dose anything.

how are you testing your Ph
