This is more sharing experience rather than a question. 2 weeks ago I noticed my frogspawn and hammers not opening more than 1/4" off the skeleton after months of nice big pretty plump tenticals. I initially thought it was a decrease in nutrients. I did a "deep clean" and nitrates dropped to below 5. For the past year my phosphates have held steady below .50. I didn't think to check again. Tested phosphates this morning at 2.5. I'm guessing this is the issue. BUT, am open to any suggestions.
 
They typically will have effect on most coral
My preferred method for safe reduction is use of chemipure elite
 
Running a phosgard pack now. Still gotta find the source though. Thinking It may be my over feeding of reef roids.
