High po4 and no3

Hi all

Been strugiling with high no3 and po4

Just tested today it's at

Hannah checkers
No3 16.2
Po4 0.32

I did get po4 down to 0.06 using seachem phosgard I stopped using it as i didnt want to bottom it out .i did a water change yesterday about 20ltrs,tank size is 140ltr or there abouts doing another 10ltrs today. hoping I would have some decent numbers.i thought my no3 would of come down but no.didnt think my po4 would of sky rocketed that high.any help would be great

I wouldn’t worry about NO3. 10-20 ppm is a great place to be. PO4 may just be coming out of the rocks and you may need to continue doing periodic phosguard or GFO treatments until it stabilizes. GFO is cheaper and just as effective as phosguard BTW.
