I had a paly colony just melt away . Not sure what the issue is, I sent the water for testing to aquastrik . It shows potassium at 503 . I use instant ocean reef crystal along with tropic marin a elements 3 mo a day and k elements 1.5 ml a day along with bactobalance 1.5 mo a day.

Im unable to understand the source of this spike. All my corals acros Montis sps lps are doing fine .

Any clue other than suspecting the salt itself ?

Your K elements is potassium. If your dosing it and your tank is not using it the levels are only gonna go up.
But the ingredients listed has no potassium
Tropic Marin® K+ ELEMENTS contains barium, boron, chromium, cobalt, iron, copper, manganese, nickel, strontium and zinc in pure mineral form.

It must have potassium, plus the other trace elements(the ones you listed above) Bc K is the elemental symbol for potassium

Cant find it contains potassium on even their own site.
perhaps the A- and K+ have some other meanings like Kaon and whatever the heck has a A+ symbol in particle physics. Which would mean neither name have any actual meanings lol.

what salt are you using and are you dosing anything else?
