High Redox Reading - 497 - too good to be true ?

System - Red Sea Reefer 525 XL - 139 gal - using Nyos 160 skimmer , which i heard raises redox nicely , near perfect conditions in tank , Probe is only 6 weeks old and calibrated .No ozone running . Corals ape popping like a mutter. Just have a foreboding feeling something not right , or maybe i shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth ?
Any thoughts appreciated .

If the corals are happy, leave it alone. Never chase numbers. Look at the corals. If they are thriving, your redox could be zero for all they care.. all about the corals and less about the numbers
