What the heck is happening there, I'm using reef crystals and I never had this situation where my salinity randomly stopped at 1.030 and I can't lower it, I PUT FRESHWATER HERE and it still shows me this results, I re-calibrated my refractometer hundreds of times and it still shows 1.030

What do you mean by stopped?

How do you think the salinity got that high?

How big is the tank, and how much freshwater did you add in

Also, what refractometer are you using?

It stalled at 1.030 and I didn't put any salt in there for a week, I use the same refractometer as Red Sea but it's another brand, the telescope thingy, I put like 0.3 L of freshwater in my 22L tank

I would say its broke or you're using it incorrectly.

Save yourself some frustration and go buy a hanna digital salinity checker
It works!!! I know it works because RODI shows 0, In the QT it shows 1.025 and in another water it's also that result, just my DT being like that

I don't think you added enough FW.

Take out some of the water, and replace it with FW.

Very closely monitor the salinity level, and do it very slowly.

That's about a 1.5% expected drop in salinity, which would take a very keen eye to detect.
