High TDS in& out

I just replaced my pre filters, membrane & DI resin, & am still getting high( 38 in 35 out) TDS readings I'm using an inn line meter to read the TDS ANyone thing it's possible that the meter is bad? Not sure what else to do, I cleaned the probe tips & readings stayed the same .
I'm confused? could my R/O system be bad?

Please show pic of where the in and out Connects to the unit.

In should be after the membrane, before DI.
Out should be after DI

Yes of course thats how the meter is set up
Sorry I should have been more clear, ithas been reading correctly for about a year , then it started reading high, so I changed the DI resin & the number on the out side lowered. Then number was high on the in & out so I replaced all the pre filters ,membrane & resin .
Numbers on in & out have not gone down since everything was repl...

Anyway to get a hold of a handheld Tds meter?
Walmart by me sometimes carries them in the RV section.

IF the TDS out of the DI is unchanged when you put in new resin and ran a gallon or two through it, then unless it was a bad batch of resin, the meter is probably acting up.

Previously, did the post RO/pre DI water read about that same value, or something different?

I'm goint to tryn & find a held held meter to test with, the meter performed normal for about a year,I'm thinking bad batteries, or faulty meter( hoping), a new meter is cheaper than new r/o unit

Problem solved..... Bad batteries, changed batteries& readings are 14 in & 0 out

Did you let the system run for a while?

What's your Tds at the tap? That 14 out of membrane would be 350 at the tap for 96% rejection rate.
DI will exhaust fairly quick.

Hopefully the number comes down some as it runs
