Just now opened and started using the RO/DI 7 Stage pro system from BRS (ordered in Dec). It seems my TDS is 10-11 on my Cation canister and the other two are at zero. Any ideas?

Cation is first so not all will be removed. Do not measure in between the cation and anion.

Folks often do not understand this, but a cation only or anion only di resin should raise the tds of the water passing through them because the H+ and OH- they release are more conductive than ANY other ions they are swapped for.

It is only after passing through both that the H+ and OH- combine to form nonconductive water that the tds drops.

I really appreciate this knowledge. It’s very exciting during the salt mix process. It means I’ve only touched the surface when filling tank #1.
