I have high tin in my water is it possible that it comes from?

Then I mean the brown stuff.

I doubt it comes from the latch.

Do a thorough inspection all over your tank. My high metals were caused by the AI prime light stand being installed so that the metal was touching the water (high mercury and chrome). Flipped it the other way around and all is well. I also keep my magnetic scraper above the water line just in case something leeches off of the blade.

I think I found my problem found a rusty screw inside the jebao dcs 3000 buyed it last January :eek:

Tin is usually from rusting steel, somewhere.
I had the exact same issue with a Jebao return pump that rusted prematurely.
