Curious what causes it? My RO water sample also stated I have 3.14 of bromine so is it caused by this what is the source?

Maybe the bromine is leaching from substrate in your area. Are you on a well? Rocks like Bromargyrite, Kuzminite and Grechishchevite all contain bromine. Maybe that's getting into your fresh water source.
