I'm going to one of the semi-local LFS this weekend and have a coral question. What coral would go good in this general area (about 5" below the water line):

This is in a 75G that still has fish in QT...but all fish are "reef safe". I have 2 Jebao RW-8 wavemakers (set on low) & 1 Reef Breeders photon 48-W LEDs. Would like something kids would like, so anything with movement and/or bright colors would be good...but will consider others.

Thanks!

Hammers, frogspawn and torches come to mind for movement. May have to light acclimate for a while. Give them a bit of room as they have sweeper tentacles that will kill too close corals but those three can be placed next to each other.

Sps are great for color but polyps are so small, movement is non existent though. Millipora tend to have the largest polyps for sps.

Take a look at galaxea. Bright, some movement, but not too much. Grow pretty quickly as well in a healthy system.
And check your PAR or LUX values with the Photons, those are some awesome lights and can put out a ton of light. Just checked out a Photon I have on a tank and the LUX reading was 80,000 at the surface of the water with blues at 70% and whites at 20% (have T5's too, but that was with them off). Point is that you will need to check the lighting needs of whatever you put up that high. There are a lot of corals that you'll fry with a Photon if you aren't careful.
*disclaimer, I love @Reef Breeders lights, they are incredibly powerful!

photosynthetic gorgs love flow and light get tall though, pocillopora is an easier sps with big polyps. Duncans have lots of movement if the flow isn't to direct.

Agree with the photoacclamating comments above as well

Sps with that much height in the tank would be good with a good light
