Hello, I recently purchased a highlighter coral. It arrived yesterday and still won’t expand? My water parameters are fine. I also put it in a moderate flow area and have the ai 16 light. When should it come out?

Do you have any more details about what you purchased? It's hard to troubleshoot because this isn't a commonly discussed name.

Also, what constitutes "fine" for water parameters and how did you test?

Highlighter torch coral, sorry.
My calcium is 440
Temp is 77
Magnesium is 1280
SG 1.025

the coral is stressed...give it time to accumulate in your tank...

BTW, i would get your mag up to 1350-1400

That is not a happy coral. It has started retracting from its skeleton. I would suggest keeping it in a low flow area. Too much flow will damage the tissue more.

Do you have an Alkalinity test result or Nitrates?
Nitrate is .30 ppm and alk is 150
