I have been a big fan of ecotech. ive had multiple radions, mp10s, mp40s and other products from them and always been very happy with the equipment and their customer service.

My experience with their versa pump has pretty much been the opposite. I bought the 4-pack with base station to replace a set of bluetooth dosing pumps because i needed something with wifi capability that would allow me to track dosing container levels and change dosing as needed while travelling. I even called ecotech prior to purchasing to make sure these functions were available, specifically confirming it was possible to track dosing container levels and set thresholds for alerts once certain levels were reached in dosing containers.

I received the pumps a few weeks ago and after about 4 hrs of setup (very little instruction, even in the app and a very long and finnicky firmware update) i found that neither of these functions were available. I called ecotech and, after sending screenshots of all pumps and settings, ecotech confirmed that neither of the functions i purchased the pumps for (and had called prior to purchase to confirm were currently functional) are in fact functioning. Apparently, they are still in development with no timetable for when they will be rolled out. their only response was- sorry, we dont know when it will be ready.

No explanation or attempt to make up for their misinformation or false advertising that led me to purchase the product. I expected much better from both the product and the customer service.

If you are considering this pump, id highly recommend waiting until they have all of the advertised features functional.

Wireless control is explicitly advertised. And as I said, I called them before purchase to ask specifically about these features before purchasing.

But you can control them wirelessly... it is only bluetooth, so short range.

They are supposed to have wifi connectivity and that is how (apparently) the notifications would be sent about dosing container levels. This is what ecotech told me prior to purchase and the reason I purchased. It does not work currently and as you noted you must be in very close range to control over Bluetooth (without notifications).

my whole issue is that they told me these features were currently available before I purchased. However after purchasing they tell me they are still being developed with no estimated completion date and no explanation for why they told me these functions were working before.
