Hello! Sorry for dumb question, I am cycling a tank and finally hit 0 ammonia. On the otherhand my nitrites are quite literally off the charts. And my nitrates seem a little high.

After reading other threads im more confused. Do I need to do a water change to drop the nitrites or do I just ride it out? Thanks.

Sorry for double post if thats the case it looked like my other one was deleted, im new here lol!

I do not own a nitrite or ammonia test. When cycling a tank I watch for nitrates. When I see them I slowly proceed with adding livestock. Nitrites cause no harm in saltwater and from what I've read they can cause false high readings of the nitrate test results.
