Yup moved it near my other candy cane. Hoping they make a cool candy cane cavern over this tunnel. And calc and all are right in the sweet spotNice, for that nice head you did good. If it does good for another week I would get it to a nice spot into the rock. Keep you numbers solid, they need calc and alk for them to build skeleton.

Its a nuvo 20 with all in one with the filtration in the back. I've been using the innovative marine 3 pack filters that have the sponge, carbon and phosphate sponges. There are two overflows so I have that on both sides. I also stuff some of the white cotton like filtration stuff around them too to catch extra stuff and add more bacteria hosting sites.Do you have more details on your setup? I'm also running a 20 gallon IM all in one - what lighting/filtration are you using? Great looking tank, my frags are arriving next Thursday!![]()
Thanks for the extended details - what lighting are you using for the tank? Its a nuvo 20 with all in one with the filtration in the back. I also got a ghost skimmer in there too. It works pretty well but kinda noisy.
I think the big thing that has helped is I do 2 gallon water changes once a week. Everything seems pretty happy with that. I also don't throw away the filters each week. Just sort of shake them off in the water I syphoned out.
I change them about once a month but not at the same time and not on a WC day. I think that lets the bacteria I left repopulate the new sponges.
Oh yeah sorry meant to type that. I have an orbit LED light strip. It is okay although friends have told me it's probably not good enough for acros. It's does offer a decent amount of control. I don't even have it turned up all the way and I'm afraid I'm cooking things. Thanks for the extended details - what lighting are you using for the tank?
