Anyone use these Hiperagro led lights with a light timer to ramp up and down?

any suggestions if this is possible? ive been trying to connect to a nicrew pro timer, but can't tell if it doesn't work or if the nicrew is just broken.

also trying to figure out how TF to move the blue/white light up and down. I have the older version, and I can turn the lights up and down, but it doesn't seem intuitive, and not really sure I have them set properly.

Why do you think the Nicrew should work w/ the Hiperagro?
Pretty sure it won't except possibly globally by reducing the voltage to the Hypargero circuitry.
Not really what you want.
If you want better control you will probably need to tear into the circuitry of the Hyper...

Looks to have "proper" drivers too!! Makes it a bit more difficult..

Many Chinese lights were sold under different names.

Well my old nicrew timer worked with my fluval…and I believe was designed to work with many lights. Wondering is anyone used that or any other timer w the hiperagro. I have old version which does not have its own timer.

Right, you just have 4 step dimming on the 2 channels.
Need to put it in a wall timer for any " automation"

The Nicrew dimmer can work on many lights IF the design is a constant voltage array.

It can " sort of" work on constant current arrays by basically acting as a wall timer that turns the light on/off at a speed of 500 times a second.

Just put it between the dc power supply and light head.
No seperate channels but will function.

I'm ve personally tried to find out if there are any "electrical issues" doing this but haven't found any definitive answers.

Cycling a constant current driver 500 times a second or whatever just seems err.....
"wrong".

As long as the light retains it's last dimming setting it should work.

Btw Fluvals build is completely different ( constant voltage) from the Hipagero ( constant current).
